Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is a must-have in my house for hair, skin & nails. Why is it so good for my thin, wavy textured hair? It has a tiny triglyceride which will penetrate the cuticle layer of the hair over time. This will allow for deep moisture and nourishment to happen. It also has antimicrobial properties. This helps prevent skin infections and has been known to help dandruff sufferers. When purchasing coconut oil, look for: organic, unrefined, cold-pressed pure coconut oil. All this means is you are getting a pure oil processed with no chemicals.

A New Way to Shampoo for Wavy Hair
Even though I have been in the hair industry for awhile now, I was still a little intimidated by all of the steps that seemed to go along in this new quest. I had to
- know ingredients of my products
- own a microfiber towel
- don’t run a comb or brush through my hair
- don’t touch my hair
- have special clips
- not blow dry or straighten

The Beginning of my Wavy Journey
I’m going to be honest, I have become extremely bored with my hair over the past couple years. I would wash, blow dry, and then straighten my hair. I used every type of volume product possible to add some kind of body to my thin, fine hair. This went on for many years, never really knowing what year or age I was by looking at pictures. I did the same routine over and over. I wanted a change so I started to just let my hair grow.
